Jeff did a great job on the install of the windows. He really impressed me from the very beginning of the process. One thing that I noted that set him apart from the other quotes that I got was that he was not a "salesman," he was very laid back and easy to talk to about the process. There were no gimmicks or "buy today and we'll take $500 off the price" or any nonsense like that. He simply stated that he hoped that I would chose him and that I wouldn't be dissapointed. During his first visit, he gave me an extremely competitive quote, and a guarantee that I would be happy with the windows. The thing that stood out to me the most was that he came to show the windows, he measured the windows, he ordered the windows, and finally he installed the windows. The fact that he represents his company and does all of the installation lets you know that he wanted to ensure I was happy with the final product. Once the windows were in, I was extremely impressed with the work, the windows work great and the trim work inside and out is very clean and has helped the house look and feel tremendously better. I appreciate the honesty and work ethic that Jeff has, it's the reason that I chose him over competitors, and he stuck true to his word.

ATLANTA VINYL WINDOWS 04/25/2009

In the family room and adjacent breakfast area of our home, we had nearly a dozen double hung windows which looked out over a golf range. The windows were older and showing wear, with some having sills that were bad and in need of repair or replacement. In the family room there were two French doors with a set of three double hung windows on either side, which gave a cluttered look.

After speaking with a number of contractors, we decided on Atlanta Vinyl Windows, Inc., Jeff York, owner, who recommended using the Alside window product which afforded good value and received positive reviews from Consumer Digest and other sources. The job was more complicated than most because several sills, both inside and out, needed replacement. Also, we wanted to change from double hung windows to casements in the breakfast area, and from double hung to large picture windows in the family room. All the windows had transoms above them, some of which also were showing weathering and deterioration.

After talking with Mr. York, we decided to replace the areas housing the three double hung window sets with complete new frames which would hold both the new transom window and the two large custom picture windows. This required that Jeff negotiate a special order with Alside. New interior sills were needed with the large picture windows. Additionally, the French doors were to be replaced with patio doors.

Once our contract was signed, Jeff handled everything that was needed including taking measurements, placing the orders for windows, doors and the special orders, obtaining and transporting the new windows to site, etc. He and his associate, Dave, arrived on the date scheduled, worked continuously (weather permitting), always left the premises clean at the end of a work day, and were meticulous with the work they did. All windows needed for the job were on hand with correct dimensions, and were installed as planned. Replacement or repair of sills and other woodwork were made, as previously agreed, and the new sills were painted to match existing molding. The men were polite and respectful throughout and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with the work they were doing.

In summary, Atlanta Vinyl Windows met our expectations - they completed the job on time and in a professional manner; the windows are attractive and function well; the workmanship was tops. In short, we feel we obtained exceptional value on this job, i.e., fine work at a reasonable cost. We would not hesitate to recommend these craftsmen to others.

Jeff took the stress right out of having our windows replaced. Right from when he came round to provide an estimate he was someone you knew you could trust. I had several companies lined up to provide estimates but as soon as I spoke with Jeff I knew the rest would be a waste of time. He certainly didn't disappoint. We are enjoying our windows very much and the quality of the work was outstanding. Everything ran smoothly and just how Jeff had promised. Jeff and David were very courteous and hard-working. I was thinking about Jeff and David this morning as I watched the sun come up through my sparkling new windows!! I couldn't be happier. The added charm is quite a bonus and I love the new cottage look. Jeff was here about 7:30 a.m. and David arrived with the windows about an hour later. By 1:15 p.m. they had 10 new windows installed and didn't even leave a speck of dust!! The mechanics of the windows is really impressive. Smooth as silk. I'm on the HOA board for my neighborhood and you can bet I will give a 100% recommendation for Atlanta Vinyl Windows. Jeff and David - thanks for brightening up my home. Mary

Several weeks ago eighteen new windows were installed in my home. I had left in the morning for work with my house clean and pristine. A friend was there to greet Jeff and his partner at 8:30 am. It was reported that the buzz of power tools had started soon after. They were very efficient and professional in their work. At about 4pm when I had arrived home there was only one window left to install. I was asked if it would be okay for them to finish the job that day. It was done and done exceptionally well. My house was still clean inside and out. They had hauled away all the debris and did an outstanding job.

It has now been a couple of months since All American Homes replaced one of my windows, and I just wanted to thank them for the excellent work that they did! I had a tall fixed window that needed to be replaced and they handled the project with ease, without problems, and their price was very reasonable.
I had thought of getting a window through the local hardware store and replacing it myself. However it was soon clear to me that, besides waiting several weeks to order a window, getting the exact same size of window would be difficult and I would not be sure it would match until it I received it. Jeff of their company looked at my window and had no problem getting the same window. I also appreciate that there was no problem verifying insurance with your company.
On that day that the workers came, they were very careful in the work they did, and there was no mess when they were done. The finished job worked out very good - beyond my expectations. I had received estimates from other companies that it would take most of the day to do this work, but the two workers from All American Homes had it completed in less than two hours.
I highly recommend the selection of All American Homes to others that need new windows or windows replaced.

Within two hours of our initial call, Jeff made an onsite visit to our site, and provided real window samples for us to consider.
